The building serves as the Security Control Building, where all the people who needs transactions for the Ministry should pass here first for checking before they access for the offices. Over all the structure caters all the request, released papers and approval needed for visitation and any clearances needed and concerns the central jail department. Other facilities was also provided such as small mosque, accommodation for security and police officers, parking area for employees vehicle and transport bus and also a parking for the public who will conduct transactions inside the facilities.

The project is about 17,655 sq.mts., consists of Basement, Ground Floor and First Floor with (2) internal court yard. It was designed as two separated building with a linking bridge at the first floor. Other facilities were also considered such as parking area both for the employee and public user.

Administration office and support facilities. Enough space are design for (140) Individual cells and (36) Group cells. Post and watch tower are well design to overview the whole site and facilities to control and maintain the security.

The project was about 7,200 sq.mts. plot area. A two floor structures consist of main entrance lobby, duty officers room, investigation room, control room, main kitchen and dining halls, clinics, administration offices and other support facilities such as substation, communication and operation hall, function and meeting rooms, Diwaniya, dormitories and accommodation with complete facilities. Pens for the trained military dogs were also provided. As for the marine works, free board for small boat, gangway and some rest house was designed and provided.

The project was divided into two-different buildings with their own function both located in the same area. (One Extension for Central Jail the and the other was called Deportation Jail). Each building consists of two-floor with their facilities for the administration and offices. Individual Cells and Group cells are also design with enough security and visual access for the facilitators and enforce staffs. It has a security system designed by Siemens Co. Germany (NGEECO) as the specialist consultant.
